KATHLEEN LILLIAN GAGNON (nee LARKINS) December 2, 1914 - October 30, 2002 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, Kathleen Gagnon who passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2002. Kay was born, raised and resided in Transcona. At the age of 25, she married Joseph Arsene Gagnon, also of Transcona, on July 1, 1940, and spent many happy years with him and their four children. She found her greatest pleasure in her crossword puzzles, scrabble and card games and received many shuffleboard trophies. Kay was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Arsene in 1996; her parents, Louise and Stafford Larkins; and her sisters, Dulcie LeBlanc and Janet Moore. She is survived by her sons, Charles, Ernie (Lorette) Gagnon and daughters, Evelyn Parker and Lynda (Dan) Kasper; her grandchildren, Darren, Suzanne (Scott), Debra, Trevor (Lauren), Ryan, Kristin and Laura (Lindsey) and her great-granddaughter Montana. She will also be greatly missed by her friends, Ida Bockus, Daphne Walker and Anne Zema and many, many nieces and nephews. Respecting her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service will follow. The family would like to thank the staff of Concordia Hosptial and Poseidon and River East Care Homes, where she spent her last few days, for their love and care.
